Although it's almost the end of the month, here is my submission for The Silver Screen Society and their October movie, Mon Oncle, a french comedy film by Jaques Tati. In Mon Oncle, the main character Monsieur Helot visits his sister, brother-in-law, and nephew and struggles to fit in to their technology driven life style. I was worried how well a comedy would translate through sub-titles, but after watching it several times and pausing youtube videos for hours on end I ended up loving the film. I meant to throw in the dachshund in the plaid vest but time got the better of me...so if you a see a wiener dog wandering around in a future illustration you will know why!
